Penalty diagnosis
The site had experienced a gradual ranking decline consistent with an algorithmic quality penalty. Our audit identified a combination of technical issues — redirect chains, indexation of thin content pages, and legacy link profile toxicity from a previous agency — that collectively triggered Google's quality filters.
Technical recovery
We resolved all redirect chains, deindexed thin and duplicate content, and submitted a comprehensive disavow file after manually reviewing thousands of backlinks. The recovery process took approximately 8 weeks before rankings began to stabilize and improve.
On-page and content optimization
With the penalty resolved, on-page optimization drove the ranking recovery. Title tags were rewritten for every practice area page.
